granite or sandstone. We do not just cover our products with stone
panels or make them partially out of stone.

What is the image engraved on to?

The image is first processed by a professional graphic artist, then it is engraved directly onto some of the purest black marble in the world using a proprietary method. There is no special coating or paint applied to the image. It is permanently on the stone, and the only to remove the image is to grind it off.

How long will the engraved image last?

The image is engraved directly onto stone and will last permanently. The only way to remove or damage the image is to grind it off the stone. It is impervious to fading caused by sunlight or the elements.

How do I know what size to order?

The guideline that we follow is one pound cremated equals one cubic inch. So a dog that weighs 85 pounds at the time of death will require an urn with a volume of 85 cubic inches or more.

What kind of care do the urns require?

For the granite urns you can simply wipe off with a damp rag, or use a glass cleaner such as Windex. We do not recommend using harsh chemicals to clean the stone as it may dull the highly polished surface.
A2: For the sandstone products you can wipe with a damp sponge or simply hose off if it is outside.

The faces are attached using extremely strong epoxy glue that fuses the two stone parts together.

No, the urns are available for purchase without the engraved face. The only exception to this is the sphere urns, which requires a face.
