Radiation Safety Officer Training:
After having the Nuclear Gauge Safety Training.
Cost: $300.00 per. person

In the United States and its protectorates all portable nuclear gauge operators are required by NRC or Agreement State regulations to receive formal radiation safety training. L.T.S. conducts one day courses which satisfy NRC and Agreement State requirements, as well as US DOT training requirements for 49 CFR 172, Subpart H. A certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course. |

Every L.T.S. Gauge Safety Training class has a portion that satisfies US DOT training requirements of 49 CFR 172, subpart H (HAZMAT) for individuals shipping or transporting hazardous materials. Recurrent training is required every 3 years (every 2 years if gauges are shipped by air [e.g., FedEx]). Simply attend the HAZMAT session (starting at 1:00 p.m.) of this class to update your HAZMAT certification. When the session ends, everyone takes the required HAZMAT test. |
