Edwardian Jewelry and Arts and Crafts
Following the Victorian period, was a style known as Edwardian Jewelry named after Edward VII who succeeded Queen Victoria on her death in 1901. It expanded from traditional jewelry designs with pearls, diamonds, gold and platinum in a lacy, delicate appearance like some of the pieces shown below.
During the same period, there was a breakaway from traditional designs called the Arts and Crafts Movement whose jewelry was made out of silver, gold, enamel and many colors of semiprecious stones. These are also displayed below.
