This gorgeous ring is vintage circa 1930s or 1940s although the amethysts were added later. It is fashioned from platinum and is set with diamonds and amethysts. The diamonds are straight baquette cut and are VS clarity and G-H color. The total weight is .50 Cts and 3 diamonds have a chip which you have to have a microscope to see. The amethysts are the perfect rich purple that they should be and weigh 2.00 Cts. total weight. They are VVS clarity.The ring is a size 5 and can be resized. The top portion of the ring measures 1/2 x 3/4 inches and weighs 7.4 grams.
