1.Unscrew the bottom of the urn by removing the
four screws.
2.Transfer the cremated remains into the
cavity.
·If you do not wish to transfer the remains
yourself, you may find a friend or family member who is willing to do
this.Also, your veterinarian will
usually do this for you at no charge.
·When you receive the cremated remains, they are
usually in a plastic bag.We recommend
keeping them in that plastic bag and simply placing it inside the urn. This is especially recommended if you are not
going to seal the urn with some type of glue.
·Eternal Stone Creations does not guarantee an
airtight seal between the base and the body of the urn without the use of some
type of glue.
3.Seal the urn and screw the base back on.
·We recommend that prior to screwing the base of
the urn back on, you place a bead of silicone, hot glue, epoxy, or some other
type of glue around the top of the opening of the urn, and then screw it
on.This will ensure an airtight seal.
4.Cover the screw holes with the included felt
pads, so it will not scratch the surface the urn is placed on.
How to Take Care of the Urn:
·We recommend that you clean the surface of the
urn with a glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
·We do not recommend that you use harsh chemical
cleaners or abrasives to clean the urn.
